ULMA FORGE Security Door

Analysis, design and assembly of a security system to avoid metallic projections in a pneumatic forging hammer.
The installation consists of 2 sliding doors and 2 fixed panels.
The actuation of the system is pneumatic.

Security Door CIE GALFOR

The installation consists of 4 sliding doors and 2 fixed panels.
To avoid entrapment when closing the doors, a special security barrier is installed.
The control is by means of a PLC and the maneuver is
Integrated in the operation of the hammer.

INCIDENTS

  1. 1.-Projection of some discs causing breakage of the glass and deformation of a steel handle.
    2.-Fall of the upper hammer due to poor fixation, displacing the operator and avoiding entrapment.
    Both incidents without causing injury to the operator.
